A Free, IT Community Event Happening Saturday, April 14th on the Campus of Cal State University, Long Beach.
Business leaders in the greater Los Angeles area, looking to expand their networks and exposure should mark their calendars for Saturday, April 14, 2012. The team behind the SharePoint Saturday LA (SPSLA) community, lead by Nedra Allmond and Wahid Saleemi, are hosting a free, all-day event on the campus of California State University, Long Beach inside the University Student Union featuring Keynote Speaker, Mark Miller, founder of two of the largest, online SharePoint communities in the world. Also included are interactive workshops, guest lecturers, Microsoft Health Check and more; beginning at 8:30am and runs until 5:30pm. This will be a great opportunity to connect with other SharePoint users, admins, developers and architects, to learn from experts and MCM’s and MVPs, and to get introduced to various vendors and service companies serving the SharePoint community.
Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be served at the venue, and free Wi-Fi will be provided by the facility. Giveaways and prizes will also be provided throughout the day. We are giving away tickets to the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach!

From LAX, Santa Monica, West LA – Take the 405 South and exit at Bellflower Blvd. Turn left from the off-ramp and then make an immediate right on Bellflower Blvd. Continue to Beach Drive and turn left into campus. The Visitor Information Center will be on your right. From Orange County – Take the 405 North. Exits at Palo Verde, Studebaker, and Bellflower Blvd. To get to the Visitor Information Center take Bellflower Blvd. Turn left at Beach Drive. The Visitor Information Center will be on your right. From Downtown LA, East LA – Take the 605 South and exit at Willow Street. Continue to Bellflower Boulevard. Turn left at Bellflower and make another left at Beach Drive. The Visitor Information Center will be on your right.
