As many of you know, I created the SlagleBot in Azure about a month ago to help me scale myself to answer some Microsoft questions that I frequently get from partners. This bot has helped me to feel more comfortable to create more productivity time for myself, and also feel better about taking vacation time! It’s been amazing helpful even though it’s still in its Beta phase.
Throughout the last series of Partner Briefings and SMB Lives, I had a ton of partners ask how I created the SlagleBot. After showing several partners how to do this in a 1 on 1 basis, I finally decided to record a video to show all of you. This is so amazingly easy, even I can do it! J This video will show you how a non-technical person like myself can create my own chatbot in less than 15 minutes!
If you want to test out the SlagleBot, you can leverage it in a few different ways.
- Skype Personal – Add SlagleBot to your friends list and send an IM any time (24/7/365) – https://join.skype.com/bot/b5c36365-fd05-475f-aa0a-36c1b0b11a0c?add
- Email – Send an email directly to the SlagleBot at Bot@SlagleBot.com. (When you email though, make sure that only your question is in the body of the email. Remove any signatures or anything else in your email.)
- Facebook – Like SlagleBot on Facebook and send it messages through Facebook messenger – https://www.facebook.com/SlagleBot/
